2022 recruit Jeremy Wilmer scored a short-handed goal and added an assist in Tri-City’s 4-1 win against Sioux City. The Rockville Center, N.Y., native, who spent the past two seasons with the NTDP, has a 6-6-12 line in 11 games and is second in scoring for the Storm.

Looking back
John Aiken, the first of 90 Terriers to play in the NHL, has died at 89. The Arlington, Mass., native, who played for BU during the 1954-55 season, later became the “house goalie’ at Boston Garden—an emergency option in the days when NHL teams only carried one goaltender. On March 13, 1958, Montreal goalie Jacques Plante was injured in a game against the Bruins and Aiken got the call for what would be his only NHL game. Details in the SB Nation story below.
