With just four weeks left in the regular season, the Terriers begin a home-and-home series against New Hampshire with four critical points at stake. Tonight’s game at UNH’s Whittemore Center starts at 7 p.m. and will air on NESNplus. Outside of New England, the game will be live-streamed on CBS All-Access.
BU and the Wildcats are currently tied for fifth place in Hockey East with 19 points apiece, with the Terriers having a game in hand. Both teams are a point behind third-place BC and Maine.
BU's David Farrance is the top scoring defenseman in Division 1 and leads BU in scoring with 35 points after his 1G,2A performance in the Beanpot final. Patrick Harper has 32 points while freshman Trevor Zegras has 29 points.
Like BU, the Wildcats’ top scorer is a defenseman. Max Gildon has 24 points, followed by forwards Charlie Kelleher (23), Patrick Grasso (21) and Angus Crookshank (18), who is the top goal-scorer with 13. Junior goalie Mike Robinson has made 20 starts and has a 2.55 GAA and a .901 save percentage.
